Paul is a detail-oriented carpenter, whose satisfaction comes from seeing a project completed with care and precision.

A graduate of Ithaca College, Paul left Ithaca to work as a natural areas manager in West Haven, VT. He managed 12,000 acres and developed an interest in woodworking and green technologies. Appreciation of trees, their variety, and their characteristics led him to work as a master woodworker’s apprentice, building furniture and a wide variety of construction and renewable energy projects.

Moving back to Tompkins County in 2007, Paul contracted with a variety of Ithaca's green builders on high efficiency new construction and renovation projects, as well as straw bale, earthen floor, and clay plaster projects until joining up with the Ironwood team in 2009.
